Most of your audience is reading your emails on their phone. They’re not at a desk, they’re read on a small screen, usually while doing something else.
If your email is hard to scan on mobile, it does not matter how good the content is. It gets ignored.
Here is how to keep your emails clean, readable, and easy to act on.
Use rezora’s Mobile View While You Build

If you are building emails in rezora, use the mobile view in the email builder while you’re putting content together.
It takes a few seconds and it catches the issues that hurt performance:
- Headlines that wrap awkwardly
- Images that feel too tall on a phone
- Buttons that are too small or too close together
- Sections that feel like a wall of content once they stack
Make it a habit! You can build the email, flip to mobile view, scroll it top to bottom once, then make small edits until it reads clean. Or you can build the email entirely in the mobile view and make the needed adjustments for the desktop view.
Start With Short Paragraphs
Big blocks of text feel even bigger on a phone. Keep paragraphs to two or three sentences max. White space is your friend.
If it feels slightly short when you write it, it will probably feel just right on mobile.
Use One Clear Column
Multi-column layouts can break or stack awkwardly on smaller screens unless set up properly.
A single-column email keeps everything simple. It guides the reader naturally from top to bottom.
Less complexity usually means better performance.
Make Your Headlines Do Work
People scan on mobile, especially agents’ audiences. Use clear subheadings to break up sections and make the main point obvious. If someone only reads the headlines, they should still understand the message.
Clarity beats cleverness.
Avoid Tiny Text in Images
This is one of the most common real estate email mistakes.
If you are using a flyer image with details baked into it, the text usually becomes unreadable on a phone.
Email should look different than your mailers or print copy. If the text matters, put it in the email copy. Use images for the visual. Use text for the facts.
Keep Listing Photos Under Control
Big photos are great. Too many big photos can slow things down.
A simple rule: use one strong hero image for a listing, then keep everything else clean and lightweight.
If you want to include multiple listings, consider linking out to a page with the full set instead of stacking ten photos in the email.
Keep Buttons Easy to Tap
Small text links are hard to click with a thumb. Use clear buttons with enough spacing around them. One primary call to action per email is usually enough.
Good examples:
- View the listings
- See the full market report
- Book a showing
- Reply with a question
Linking your images to the site for the listing isn’t an advanced feature, it is expected.
If readers have to hunt for what to click, they probably will not click at all.
Do a 10-Second Phone Test
Before you send anything, open the test email on your own phone.
Ask yourself three quick questions:
- Is it easy to read without zooming?
- Is the main message obvious in the first screen?
- Is the call to action clear?
If the answer to any of those is no, adjust before you hit send.
Remember the Goal
Mobile-friendly emails are not about design awards. They are about making it easy for someone to understand your message quickly.
Clear layout. Short paragraphs. Simple structure.
If your email feels effortless to read on a phone, you are already ahead of most agents.
